Jaan-E-Mann was a very different film and told in a very novel fashion. The use of colour and visuals is very impressive though the plot seemed cliched. 'Dil Hi Dil Main' was another of A.M.Rathnam's futile attempts to ride on the back of A.R.Rahman's music. Sarfarosh is one such movie that you can watch anytime irrespective how many times you've seen it before. Released in 1999 every song in the album went on to be played by every music channel to this day. 'Tu jo nahin hain' was eclipsed by the super duper 'Kya mujhe pyaar hain' sung by KK for the film 'Woh Lamhe'. I don't say that Pritam is a great music director but even Anu Malik churns out his best for the Bhatt stables. This song wasn't again part of the promos and featured in the beginning of the movie

'Bol na halke halke' was probably one of the most underrated and forgotten songs of 2007. Brilliant vocals by Rahat Fateh Ali Khan and Mahalaxmi Iyer but with the film(Jhoom Barabar Jhoom) sinking at the box office and the absence the promos, this song is unheard by many.
